ok, lucky you, i just got to test out the ax3g yesterday, and i have been a long time user of the zoom g series, g2/g2.1u
well, i'd say the zoom beats the korg hands down in all aspects, , and i just find the zoom overall more value for money
why the zoom is better than the korg
- its made of metal and rubber compared to the korg's all plastic casing
- its got a built-in rhythm function(its not realli a drum machine)
- you can use 9 fx at 1 time, compared to 6
- effects are very usable, esp e 6 band eq, harmonized pitch shifter, wah
why the korg is better than zoom
- its made in japan (yup, was damn shocked when i saw it at the bottom)
- its a korg not a zoom(for people that look down on zoom)
- its smaller and lighter than the zoom
- effects are very weak, similar to the zoom 505, but a bit smoother
well, this is just my biased opinion, some my want to prove me wrong
but if i'm not wrong the price of the zoom g2 is $128, and the korg ax3g $126
