Hey all i was thinking of going to down to Music Plaza (PS) today. To order an A Custom 18" Projection Crash, do you think its worth it?
I need a cymbal that can cut through screaming guitars @ the same time, versatile enough to play funk, fusion, R&B and all that pop stuff...
Is it a good buy..? The reason i chose 18" was becuz urm...i've done abit of homework and quite alot of people prefer 18" as the size for the projection crash...but still theres a big risk in ordering something i've never tried...in real life yet. Just wondering whats your take on it.? How does the cymbal sound and the feel and char of the cymbal, for those who have owned it or own it now.. Feel free to post...please :)

My A custom 16" Crash, is beautiful but i know it has its limits and i don't wanna try thrashing it just to let it rise above the guitars.....it works best in a soft rock, pop funk enviorment, but in a rockier heavier enviorment...it just gets drowned out...thus i need something for heavier playing....the Z Customs seem very durable and loud, but i've tried them out myself and found out that they were really kinda too thick for me...the sound isn't as nice as the As.

I play alot of funk, thrash funk, rock, hip hop, fusion, abit of swing, and bla bla..but mainly rock pop and funk....
