We've been receiving feedback about Xtreme Volume. Lots of people felt that Xtreme Volume especially the one that was held in Blackroom and Marine Parade C.C. was the most memorable. We would like to thank all our loyal supporters throughout the years and if time permits, Xtreme Volume will be making a come back sometime this year after a year's absence...

We would also like to state that Xtreme Volume is in no way related to Xtreme Metal or Xtreme Productions. I think some people got confused with the two events. haha It's ok. We totally understand the confusion.

Xtreme Volume is organised by the People's Association Youth Movement (Marine Parade Youth Executive Committee). It is organised for the sake of raising money for charity through music. It also gives a platform for new bands to perform..... The bands as well as the organisers volunteer their time for a good cause.... We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has participated or helped out in Xtreme Volume over the years... :) Hope to see you guys soon....

Thanks!

Email us at xtremevolume@hotmail.com for more comments/inputs/ideas. We'd love to hear from you.

xtreme,i think hv to really think twice of organising this gig again lah...
just when i thot cn hv a reunion with old frenz if this gig is on....

Y. it's really sad that everyone wants to read about the topic but don't wanna contribute anything constructive or even click on the poll....

thought of having something like Xtreme Volume 1 or Xtreme Volume 2 (the one at Black room) but guess no wants seems to be interested or have lost interest....

what to do....
gone are the days when bands like ossuary, rudra, zeotz, zero sequence, zhen, ministry of rock, dancing nancies, meltng snow, suicide solution and lots more from different genres that used to grace this gig...

For those who hv not heard of this event,as per dtls given at the start of the thread,it has been a yearly affair...
various bands (experienced n newbies) hv played in this gig over the years..
from the 1st one held @ MPCC multi purpose hall,2nd one @ the now defunct Black Room,3rd one @ Hard Rock S'pore and the last one @ GSCC multi purpose hall....
maybe those who have been to these gigs whether playing, supporting or volunteering could tell a story or 2 about their experiences so that those who do not know about it can have a rough idea and hence cast their votes in the poll...

Juno, even with a really bad throat/flu, u helped vox on RacerX -loud n clear, Black Sabbath - Children of the sea, RisingForce - Viking and Rainbow - Gates of Babylon, with us [MOR] on Ext Vol 04. that was memorable bro \m/ respects.

aisey man...
brader paul, thanx for letting me session wit u guys man!!!
it was an honour....
wasted the ending was kinda abrupt...u noe wat i mean...
hehehehe

actually you guys really made history....

first time that actually happened to any of our events! was certainly memorable!

just a little more about Xtreme Volume......

like Juno mentioned we had loads of bands every year, like Dancing Nancies , $uicide $olution, Zeotz, Urbankarma, MeltngSnow, now defunct Seni'lysis, Bumi band, MOR, Ossuary, Rudra, now defunt Feiz Fonik, Zerosequence, Marquee (Juno's former band), 20dischanger, just to name a few....

what was great was they all played for charity (Dyslexic Association, People's Association Youth Movement, Assisi Home & Hospice...) and that it was also a platform for newbies to play and get to mingle with more experienced bands...

So now, we're just wondering whether we should bring this back again..... we had pretty good responses baack in the days....

but i thought they did make it for the 1st one?
i didnt gt to watch it coz on reservist that day... :?
but i heard they did an awesome job...which they hv always done in their shows...
:)

yeah how could i forget the awesome B-Quartet! Hidir was oh so tiny and cute behind the drums then... i think he was only like 13 or 14 then? hee...

yeah they played for the 1st Xtreme Volume. I think it was the Xtreme VOlume at Hard Rock that they couldn't make it.
