Hi. First off, new to this..

I've been informed about the Shure X2U and its cost of about $175 which is above my budget range (<$100)

I was looking for cheaper alternatives and came across Blue's Icicle but i'm not sure whether it's good or not.

Having zero knowledge in this area..
Can anyone help me out with things like pricing, where to buy and other alternatives (Pref <$100)

you can get a TASCAM US122L its a 2XLR's to USB interface with midi I/O I think Hung brothers from Sim Lim sq about $250.
Comes with Cubase LE.
