I wonder if one can borrow a pair to try to mix or master with it in order to demystify its qualities.

It's not something one can get try or get easily. These things are no longer in production, only existing ones changed hands for whatever reasons. Consequently, it is no wonder that increasingly more people aren't familiar with it. And for a product such as this, reviews out there on the Internet tend to be leaning against either those who hate it or love it. An amateur such as myself will only get confused about who's telling the truth.

Hey guys ! i'm the idiot that got them ! although not at $800 but at a lower price which i won't disclose

they work fine ! and they sound like shit ! ( which is the point )

i got my 1st pair for way cheaper , and this 2nd pair ( which is for my 2nd room ) cost me a lot more , but when it comes to business i don't **** around . They're hard to find these days and alot of people are buying HS50s which are a decent subtitute ( i have a pair myself )

but for someone like me who records and mixes everyday and depends on it for my reputation and livelihood there's no replacement for the NS 10s , UNLESSS....... U HAVE ANOTHER PAIR OF NS 10s

I used to not see ( or rather hear ) the fuss about them , but after stepping into a few bigger studios and working on more serious pop / radio stuff i realized the importance of NS10s !
