This is a boutique clone of a Neumann U47FET.
Mic is approximately 3 years old. Cosmetically, not in perfect condition but the microphone works fine. No dents or drops. It’s just the nickel that’s tarnished.
It’s my traveling microphone and has been to many countries on numerous sessions. The dented shockmount is a result of having to check it in because for some reason, on that occasion, customs deemed it as a sharp object. Microphone however have always traveled with me in my hand carry, so no accidents in baggage handling.
RFS, switching to the Townsend as it suits my needs better. Future owner can also send this microphone back to Wunder Audio if you want it upgraded to the current S version.
Google Wunder Audio CM7 FET for more info. Lots of comparison videos online so you can hear how it sounds. Testing before buying is allowed. No trades or time wasters please. We’re all busy people.
Price new was USD$2,000. Excluding shipping and taxes.
Letting this go at $1,500.
PM to deal.
Thanks.
Here's a link to some pics of the actual microphone.
