Carefully selected exotic woods, bespoke hardware, in-house pick-ups, sublime workmanship = Alembic legend.
The playability of this particular bass is hard to beat especially for a 6 string. Soundwise there is great definition and consistency across the entire 24 frets fingerboard. The replacement John East electronics have added more versatility to the sound range compensating for the dense but beautiful and pricey Macassar Ebony top.
At some point in the past the bass was not well looked after. This has been fully rectified by a complete and professional restauration. Now ready to be your pride and joy for its next 20+++ years.
