From the creators of custom built basses this bass highlights Alembic's top standards: sublime craftmanship, carefully selected, exotic woods, bespoke hardware and in-house pick-ups add to an as-good-as-it-gets package.
The playability of this particular bass is hard to beat especially for a 6 string. Soundwise there is great definition and consistency across the entire 24 frets fingerboard. The replacement John East electronics have added more versatility to the sound range compensating for the dense but very beautiful (and pricey) Macassar Ebony top.
At some point in the past the bass was not treated well. This has been fully rectified by a complete and professional restauration which has brought it back to its original glory - with modern electronics. It will be available at the end of the month fit to embark on the next 20+ years of being somebody's pride and joy.
