This is a classic original 18 inch Crash/Ride Cymbal, manufactured by Paiste in Switzerland in the 1970s under their Dixie brand. It is in good condition for its age, with some visible tarnishing which could be removed by cleaning. The cymbal has a lovely bright yet full sound, including a nice 'tuneful' bell.
This cymbal has not been cleaned up (other than a wipe to remove surface dust), as some people believe that the sound of a cymbal is actually better if not cleaned. However, careful treatment with the appropriate cymbal cleaner would restore it to its original shiny condition if required.
