This Wine Red Gibson ES-335TD was BUILT IN KALAMAZOO MICHIGAN in 1976
- solid Honduras mahogany neck; maple top back, and sides
- solid rosewood fingerboard
- 2 original 70s Gibson "Super Humbuckers" with ceramic magnets and original covers
- original nickel Tuneomatic bridge
- original trapeze tailpiece
- original black bonnet knobs
- original beveled b/w/b/w/b pickguard with nickel support bracket
- original 3 way pickup selector switch and original factory coil tap switch.
- Rare burgundy wine finish shows the slab-cut figured maple body
- jet-black pickguard and control knobs
- Dark rosewood fretboard contrasts nicely with the pearl block inlays.
- The neck has a gentle "C" profile, and is remarkably sleek and fast.
- medium-jumbos original classic gibson frets
- The patent-stamp pickups produce a smooth, high output
- rare original coil tap selector switch factory installed on the treble pickups
- Solid maple block down the center
I bought this beauty about 6 months ago from route 66 guitars in USA.
The only part that is not original from this guitar is the tuning head from the shop route66 already equipped with schallers, which i change after with an original gibson correct tuning head from the same era (i bought around usd350 from ebay)
So in other word, its in 99% fully original vintage guitar with pristine condition.
I would say its 9.5 from 10!
One of the best gibson ive ever played, the tone and resonance of the guitar is amazing..
Comes with an original hardshell case (handle latch is broken so i fixed it with extra bolt)
Beat up ohsc but still fulfill its duty..
