This baby is custom built from
- Vaughncraft 13x7, 1/4" thick steam-bent bubinga shell with 45 degree roundover bearing edge
- Allstar lightweight aluminium lugs
- Pearl Philharmonic 3-way strainer
- S-hoops.
It's designed to be crisp, warm and dark, more of a pop than a crack. The sound is very tight and defined for delicate snare work, with this shell size, bearing edge and the 3-way orchestra cable snares. You won't be able to find anything like this elsewhere.
