Love this bass, but i need to make room for other basses to suit my live venue setup more. Some pretty high end parts used in this build. Details and specs as follows:
Body: Solid alder. Nice and tight fit between body and neck, neck pocket seems to be fender specced.
Neck: Canadian maple with black bindings and blocks, finished in clear gloss
Pickups: Nordstrand NJ4s
Electronics: Wired volume/blend/tone. High end Bourn pots (better than CTS!) with Jap Orange cap (2% tolerance)
Fully shielded cavity and grounded.
Bridge: black gotoh OEM high mass bridge
Tuners: Generic chrome tuners. Smooth and holds tuning well.
If you like vintage jazz bass tones, you will love this bass. Funky, punchy and a slap tone to die for. Hate to see this go but I need to make space.
Have close to $1k in this bass, offer me a reasonable price?
Tradeswise looking for a P/J bass or something with MM pickups. 4 or 5 strings.
