WTS: Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass V (5-strings, natural colour) for S$480 (fixed).
I bought it brand new a few months back on ebay.com and shipped it in direct from the US. It is still in mint condition with no scratches, dings whatsoever. This is the first version with the seymour duncan designed pickups.

This is a great value for money jazz bass. Talkbass forum is full of rave reviews for this bass, and the tone is comparable to the pricer fender american models. If I am not wrong, the duncan designs pups are also said to be better than the newer version with the fender-designed pickups. Below is a video review of the 4-string version of the bass, but the tone of 5-string bass is exactly the same. As you can hear from the video, the slap tone is amazing (no poorer than what you can get from american jazz basses):
