This is a whole new beast with the upgrades:
1) 3 band Audere preamp JZ3. This very functional preamp brings versatility and transparency to the tone.
2) Dimarzio Ultrajazz pickups. Very 'clean', yet still gives the classic growl when panning to the neck pickup.
Body is Alder, with maple neck and maple fingerboard.
I got this bass many years back and it has definitely seen its share of gigs. Very seasoned, but well taken care of - Minor scratches and dings but nothing major. Includes a Warwick gig bag. Does not include original pickups and preamp.
$1500, a very reasonable price considering the upgrades. Not interested in trades.
