Here goes. Inspired by Sugizo kikumaru, SRV, Frank Zappa's reliced strat.
3 piece alder 1957 strat style WD music body. light weight. SSS routing, bridge pickup widen to accept slant humbucker. No serious issues... just that it had been burnt badly, hollowed out and refinished with nitrocellulose lacquer to look like the above strats inspiration.
mint green pickuard with only 1 neck single coil (Cream cover) (Fender texas special custom shop neck. 6.2k), dummy bridge and middle single coil covers, one 1 Meg volume knob. Volume knob is disconnected. AKA SRV yellow strat.
Neck is a vintage Legend early 70s made in japan strat neck. Naturally reliced, 1959 slab dark purplish rosewood board, vintage crownhead gotoh tuners, butterfly string retainer, quartersawn. heel adjustment. Do note it was refretted with jumbo frets, and 12 of them only. the lower octave are fretless meant for my slide guitar practice.
Vintage Fernandes R8 Steel block, steel saddle synchronised tremolo. (arm missing)
Not for fussy buyers who wants shiny guitars. This guitar sounds as good as an old strat should.
