Selling a Rare MIJ mid 90's Edwards by Navigator Les Paul Custom.
This seems to be a custom order made early Edwards model produced by Navigator factory under the ESP umbrella in Japan. Produced only for a limited period during transitioning of Navigator to ESP.
- Original pickups (most likely ESP Pickups), nice tone clean or with distortion
- Mahogany body and neck
- Long neck tenon
- Thick carved real maple cap
- Dark rosewood fretboard with nice pearl block inlays
- Neck shape is medium and comfortable between '59 and '60 style neck
- Headstock inlay similar that you would find on same age Navigator LP
- Produced by Navigator at the back of the headstock
- Simplistic design, no toggle switch or pickguard mount, pickup selector is using push-pull tone knob
The guitar feels very solid and plays great. IMO, the build quality is much better than my Gibson LP studio.
Condition is very good for a 20 years old guitar. Hairline scratches at the front, buckle marks at the back, neck is clean. Fretlife is about 90%. I will throw in a padded gigbag.
