PRS CST 22 Artist, signed by PAUL SMITH himself. Numbered 11/40.
Helping a friend sell this beautiful piece of art.
Here is his description of item:
You are looking at a PRS custom 22 hand signed by Paul smith himself. There were only 40 of these made total and this is numbered 11. This was a Guitat Center exclusive PRS made to commemorate GC's 40th anniversary. I am a former employee and was able to get one of these for myself.
This guitar was a dream of mine since I first started collecting them. If you have never owned a PRS then you have a huge gap in the high end guitar experience. I purchased this brand new in 2005, I am the original owner and this has been babied its whole life. I don't even use certain polish cloths or cleaning products on it as I am very particular about caring for a guitar like this. I wouldn't sell this guitar for any amount of money even just a year ago, but I am starting a family now and have responsibilities to tend to.
Now, here are the specs on this beauty:
Neck:wide fat profile mahogany with rosewood fretboard. Brazilian rosewood veneered headstock and truss rod cover 25in scale length
Body; west African mahogany super high quality artist grade neck and body are hand selected
Top: artist grade private stock highly figured 10 top with perfectly book matched chevron flame
Pickups: neck-vintage bass bridge - dragon 2 also included is artist series electronics with coil tap tone switch and 3way pickup toggle
Hardware: gold hardware-bridge is a one piece stop tail system for perfect intonation. Locking phase 11 machine heads(tuners)
Finish: ruby artist selected finish and glasslike poly urethane finish(absolutely flawless)
This guitar includes two backplate covers one of which is signed and numbered by Paul Reed Smith(never been on guitar)
Also has the original warranty card, tools, and extras seen in the picture no even have the original sku tag that was included with the guitat
The case is the leather private stock case included with all custom ordered PRS guitars, has a few Knicks and scuff on the case. But it's a case right.
Serious inquiries only please. First come first served. I hope this finds a good home.
