WTS: Peavey Microbass amp
Overview:
- 20 watts Bass Amp
- 1 x 8" speaker
- Gain control -- which I use as the volume control of the amp
- 3-band EQ -- Low, Mid, High
- Headphones Output
- Connection for Extension Cab
- Bass Player magazine rated it as the "best practice amp" in 2004
- I can include a trolley (see photos) and save your back from carrying it for long distances
- I am selling it at S$ 120
- Issue: there are 2 areas that a slight peel on the covering at the back where the amp touches the trolley (see photos); purely cosmetics; otherwise, it does not affect the sound
- As seen on the photos, the plug has 2 tubular structures (i do not know how it is called). An adaptor will NOT be included. I have used an extension cord with its configuration where I can plug it and works very well.
- NO trades, unless you have an Eminence Upright Bass
- NO reservations -- the first buyer gets it
- to meet at Toa Payoh MRT
- please do not PM as I rarely login
- feel free to SMS me at anytime at: nine820 six830
Personal comments:
- It handles the low B very well without having any audible distortion whatsoever.
- I have used it mostly for practice at home.
- I have used it for band practice and it cuts through decently without the volume/gain going beyond the 12 o'clock position.
- I used it during a band audition in a small auditorium and it sounded well without getting buried with the other instruments.
- I have used it as a monitor in a gig, and again, it lived through my expectations.
