Up for sale is the Ohnoho Utter Stutter. In essence it is a feedback loop. On crack.
Feedback loops open a whole different dimension to whatever pedals you've got on hand now, sounds you've never imagined possible with your current arsenal.
The difference is that this is a timed feedback loop, so you can create pretty damn exciting rhythmic patterns to the tempo of the song you're playing.
Some Modifications:
1) Stock, the right footswitch turns on/off the effect, while the left footswitch is a momentary footswitch to punch the effect in only for the duration that you hold the switch down. I wasn't using the momentary footswitch enough, so I installed a latching killswitch at the input. So basically you could cut the original dry signal and just let the signal coming out of the pedal be heard.
I was using this in a clean blend true bypass loop too, so it was particularly useful when I was letting drones go and didn't want the dry signal be heard through the effect. It can be useful if you want to quickly kick the pedal in for noise but not let the sounds from your guitar affect the feedback loop.
2) A 'hidden feature' of this pedal is that if you max out the Intensity and Coarse Rate knobs, you generate a constant tone from the oscillation. AND you can tune this to a specific note using the Fine Rate knob. I wanted to be able to more accurately tune this oscillation (originally the control was too sensitive for this purpose), so I swapped out the Fine Rate knob for one of a lower value. Now, you can get drones tuned to a specific note more easily (if you're so inclined)
This pedal is in great condition, I bought it brand new from Lawrence at Ohnoho, and it was an integral part of my setup for the longest time.
I'm selling this at $200.
