Generally speaking, competition/time can drive down prices of music gear. Hence, purchase price may not reflect its current market value. yes it'll be cheaper to get it from amazon but lets say if theres any issues with the hardware in the future after the buyer uses it for a while it will save the buyer lots of trouble because its a local set and save the next owner time and trouble for sending it over. would be better for those who don't mind spending more bucks and save more time+hassle free. I'd say 50 bucks cheaper from retail for a few days old product which have only been fiddled with for a few hours is a not too ridiculous asking price. peace man
