1) Nordy VJ5
The tone on this bass is awesome. A very tight and modern sound with a killer B string. (best B string i have ever played. you have to try it to believe it)
Specs:
Ash/Maple, 12" - 20" compound radius, vintage size frets, Hipshot ultralight tuners and bent plate bridge, 34.5" scale, 1.81" bone nut, 19mm spacing at bridge, satin finished neck
Upgrades:
Birdseye maple fingerboard ($120)
Big Splits pickups ($230) - This has been changed to NJ5 single coils under custom Stainless Steel covers
Pearloid blocks and binding ($450)
Black Pearloid Pickguard ($70)
Side Jack ($120)
Battery box ($100)
Trans Black Custom Finish ($170)
ACG EQ-02 preamp with tone knob ($400)
The total list price for this options are a cool $5160!! (list price of the basic model alone is $3500)

2) Marcus Miller 4
This is a very well seasoned piece from the 90s, MIJ, and was my first bass that I never thought I would sell. Condition is used, with a number of dings on the surface and the headstock, so its really not for the fussy. Pickups have been changed to nordstrand NJ4s, the preamp has been changed to a nordstrand 3 band pre, wired to 9v. Pickguard has been signed by Marcus Miller, Victor Wooten and Stanley Clarke during their concert here some years back. Hipshot D-tuner on the E string for a fast drop D tuning. With all the upgrades, I am looking at $1800. Original Pickups and Preamp available.
3) Status Series 3000 88' Amptown Edition
Very well maintained bass from the 80s that has been around the world!

This headless bass has a graphite neck, Cherry wood body, accepts both double ball and single ball strings, jazz pickups, 18v preamp. Solid sound, does weigh quite a bit. Asking for $1500.
