Bought to try out MM style bass. Cleaned up and set up to perfection after slight neglect in its previous life.
Hands down lightest 5 string bass I ever played! Upgraded with Nordstrand 3 band preamp.
This is basically a MusicMan Stingray with tighter B string (35 inch scale), standard 19mm spacing nicer for slap, and more versatile preamp. Made in Korea, very well built.
Extremely articulate with gorgeous hi-fi mids.
Previous owner probably left it unplayed quite a bit, many hours have been spent bringing it back to its full glory, ready to be rocked again.
Why go for a Indo made Sterling MM when you can go for this MTD instead?
