Looking to let this vintage 000 go as I have too many guitars a person should normally have - gotta thin the herd!

This beautiful specimen is made in 1991, is 000-size and is fully solid with a lovely spruce top with mahogany back and sides. It has a satin finish, tortoise binding and has the older dovetail neck joint vs the new M&T joint. Also has a comfortable 1 11/16 nut width, rosewood fingerboard and is an absolute joy to play. The sound has matured over the years as the top has really opened up, and the sound rivals that of my other guitars (96' Taylor 512, 000-28H). Look around online and you'll find many people praising this particular model from the early 90s.

In excellent shape for a 1991 guitar and overall condition could easily pass off as 9.5/10. No top bulge or any sort of defects on the guitar. I had it fully set up at Ebenex with Elixer 12s a few months ago, and take really good care of my instruments.

Open to slight negotiation but please be reasonable, do your research and know what you are buying! This guitar is from my personal collection, and I am in no hurry to sell to lowballers or people who cannot appreciate a good instrument.

For sincere buyers, please shoot me any questions regarding the guitar and I'll be happy to answer them!

20/04/15 update: I've received quite a few enquiries about this guitar; just like to put some info out here:

- no electronics/holes have been drilled into the body of the guit.

- this model has long been taken off the Martin line. The going price for the closest current model 000-16GT is about 2k ($1,998, to be exact) after discount from citymusic. This older 000-16 has many features used on higher end martins which the new 000-16GT does not have (tortoiseshell binding, dovetail neck construction, rosewood fingerboard etc.)

- please do not offer me any trades as I am downsizing my collection.

Letting her go for $1,600. I can be reached via 91289167 via whatsapp.

Cheers!
Daryl
