Misrepresent? The MG-44 produced during year 1993 and 1994 were made in japan. whose the fool. quit barking on my thread. You got $ buy then talk no $ buy stfu and gtfo. not happy? call me. Don't be a computer warrior.

and i think you should use your bird brain to think. why would artist like michael angelo endorse if it were korean made back then? Just like when paul gilbert endorsed the RG550s. It was during the same Era. Dog please do your research.. before you bark at my thread

Washburn Mercury only made in USA or Korea, not Japan.

And who will buy your guitar for $399 when you bought it used for $300.

Chills Bros......Life already so hard and too short to get heated up.

Anyway Bro KrAsYSell, it is more likely that this guitar that you are selling is made in Korea. I had one long long time before. You mention that it is from 1993 right? Then it is from Mercury I series. Mercury series guitar of MG-74 downwards are made from Korea but they were well made. Issues were their stock PickUps which are not desirable. The Higher ends from MG-94 to MG-154 are US made. They are also equipped with Duncan Pickups. Can see here from the list of Washburn guitars from 1993, although it does not state where the lower grade MGs were made:-

There is a discussion and a good thread on this at Washburn forum, where the experts state that MG-74 were made in Korea(Page 9 of the Washburn MG Discussion thread). I think it is better that you ask the experts there about your guitar. And if you are right, you can add the response to your sale thread. It sure would shut anyone up. Btw, i notice that you put the body of your MG-44 as Basswood, but it is actually Solid Alder. See the Washburn forum MG thread:

History of Washburn Mercury series (I and II). Here also state that MG-44 only in production from 1992-1993.
