LSL Instruments is a manufacturer of vintage, hand-made relic guitars. This one is "SOLADA" and ordered as a custom one off guitar from LSL guitars directly in 2012. Took about 4 months to build and comes with some special custom features not standard with LSL guitars.
Finish
All LSL instruments feature hand-rubbed, all-nitrocellulose finishes. Each instrument is individually relic'd, set-up, signed, and numbered by LSL.
Features
Lightweight, handmade alder body with nice relic and weather checking over the guitar
Fully handmade "soft V" profile quartersawn maple neck measuring to my specs at 0.830 at 1st fret and 0.92 at 12th
12” Radius fingerboard (also special request order)
Medium-high 6105 frets
Hand-rubbed, all-nitrocellulose finish
LSL's own hand-wound pickups with higher output in the bridge position
5-Way pickup selector
Vintage-style callaham bridge assembly with 64 arm (as opposed to the stock one that comes with LSL guitars, this is added on to my order as a special request, assembled at the LSL factory for the cost of the bridge and an upcharge)
Vintage-style Kluson tuners
Vintage-style handmade truss rod
CTS pots
G&G hardshell case included
