It's a great companion to record gigs, studio jams even recording yourself for backup tracks.
I've used it for my acappella groups, for rehearsal, and found it extremely useful especially when people couldn't make it for rehearsal, we could still have their voice present for the rest of the group to sing & blend with. The best part is, you don't need a PC. Everything is in the D888, on the fly adjustment of levels, mix, effects all on board. It comes with 8 preamps but you can layer up to 56 discrete channels and if you merge channels then you can go as many channels as you want, up to max 40GB. This is perfect for the hobbyist musician, offering a nice mix of functions, features & ease of use.
It's small and compact and can fit into a backpack. Reason I'm selling is because i'm using a focusright Liquid 56 now with my laptop and the poor D888 is no longer my primary recording interface.
I think i have the box somewhere but assume no box (i will search for it)
Going for bargain basement price of S$400. This is less than half price from when i bought it. Do a check on ebay, most people selling it for around USD$600.
