Hi

I'm putting, regrettably, a John Mayes Lucky 7 on sale. This has been one of best guitars I've tried in terms of simplicity in tone, ease of playing and the quality in construction. John Mayes introduced his run of electric guitars for only a short period. From what I know, this piece was ordered directly from John Mayes with special request on getting the colour right. Other general specs as followed:

- One piece Honduran mahogany body
- One piece Honduran mahogany neck. Fat '59 profile, very comfortable!
- Madagascar rosewood fingerboard with pearl dots
- Ebony peghead overlay with pearl logo
- Gotoh open back vintage style tuners
- Pickup is a single P90 specially custom wound by Manlius for me with gold screws
- Bridge changed to Wilkinson compensated bridge (original Tonepros available). Bridge posts have also been changed to locking Faber style
- Comes with vintage capacitor and new pots by BKP, also changed to '50s wiring (phenomenal change!). Volume and tone knobs are very interactive

The condition is 9/10 with very small ding at the back of a guitar. Comes with hardcase. I'm asking only $2k for this, but price is negotiable. Absolutely low price considering the quality. My loss, your gain. It is hard for me to part with this but the guitar is underused and not ideal for my need while playing live. Feel free to arrange for testing at my convenience at Marine Parade area. Interested do contact me through PM or email me at namakadavid at hotmail dot com. No trades.

Regards
David
