The RG655 is the most affordable model from MIJ Ibanez prestige series by J-craft team.
As you know these days it's hard to find a guitar in great build quality and 'flawless' 80/90's finishing in reasonable pricing.
I think J-craft really did a great job, the guitar has true high-end guitar quality (in such price!) having most desirable/popular options of Ibanez.
- Super Wizard HP 5pc Maple/Walnut neck
- The THINNEST neck in Ibanez : 17mm on 1st fret, 19mm on 12nd fret
- Original DiMarzio Air Norton neck, True Velvet mid, Tone Zone bridge
- Orginal Edge tremolo bridge
And I installed the tremolo-No at behind to block upward arming, this will enable you to make D-drop tuning and re-string without so much hassle which is actually impossible on any of floating bridge model.
The guitar has super low action setup now. No ding-dong, no buzz.
Purchased 1.5 month ago at Swee lee, an unpacked new box from the warehouse.
$1,000 (incl. Tremol-No setup and original Ibanez hardshell case which is super nice and light-weight!)
