I'm selling my '01 Fender Strat that has served me as my workhorse guitar for the past 4 years. I'm gonna be honest, this guitar isn't for the picky. It's been used but not abused. It has a black body with maple fingerboard and neck.
Upgrades and modifications to the guitar include:
1. Gold anodized aluminium pickguard
2. Dimarzio Area 58 in the neck, Area 67 in the middle and Virtual Solo in the bridge. (These are probably the best hum cancelling noiseless single coils out there, right up there with the boutique Kinmans)
3. RS Guitarworks 280K Superpot (The BEST potentiometers available in the market today)
4. CTS 250K Pots for the tone controls.
5. Russian NOS vintage Paper-in-Oil Capacitor.
6. Raw Vintage Tremolo Springs
If you know your stuff you would know that these are very expensive modifications and they make the strat sound like no other MIM should. The pickups alone will cost about 400bucks. I do not have the stock pickups, pots, nor stock pickguard.
The guitar has been played a lot and it has its fair share of battle scars. There are dings, about 3 of them pretty obvious by the sides of the guitar. Also the previous owner of the guitar carved out stuff at the back of the guitar, it never bothered me anyway. Pickguard looks relic-ed through so much playing and the plastics are starting to discolour. Frets still have life but may need a change after some time, they still keep intonation well surprisingly. The guitar is set up for gauge 10 strings.

Viewing and testing can be arranged but it'll be hard because I'm in the army and I only have my weekends free.
I'm letting it go at 700SGD (FIRM). This should be extremely reasonable as you get a strat cheaper the the MIJ's with much better parts and electronics. Included will be a Warwick Rockbag, but one of the straps is damaged but still holds up fine with a bit of innovation. Tremolo arm is also included.
Please no negotiations and also no trades.
I repeat again this guitar isn't for the picky so don't ask to lower the price because of the condition. This is a player's guitar that sounds great nevermind the condition.
