Selling a mint Gretsch Power Jet G6128T-TVP equipped with TV Jones Power'Trons for $2500/-.
This is a Duo Jet, but with the more expensive TV Jones pickups as well as locking tuners and a bigsby.
This guitar has been Plek'd at Swee Lee with bone nut installed and is literally the best playing guitar I've owned so far. Workmanship on these Gretsches are superb and definitely surpasses my Gibson.
I've also just recently received and upgraded the tune-o-matic bridge to a Compton Custom Compensated Bridge worth $130 SGD. It is the stainless steel version with tone chamber. Greatly improved note to note definition and sustain. No more rattle due to moving parts from the tune-o-matic as this new bridge is one solid piece. Intonation is perfect as well.
Treble Bleed has also been installed in master volume to curb massive tone lost in most Gretsch Jets when volume is rolled down.
So for $2500, you get:
A high quality Gretsch Power Jet (Original price: $3300) that has:
- Plek'd at Swee Lee (Worth $250)
- Bone Nut installed (Worth $50)
- Treble bleed circuitry ($10)
- Compton Stainless Steel with Tone Chamber bridge (worth $130)
Thats is a total value of $3740 for a mere price of $2500. I'm selling this urgently as I've ordered a Fender Custom Shop and need to sell off some stuff. I really love this guitar so I went on a mad spree to upgrade almost every aspect of this guitar to make it the most playable and best sounding Gretsch I could afford.
This link is a good representation of what the guitar sounds like. It can handle anything from rockabilly to hard rock.
