Selling my 1997 pre-Fender Gretsch 6120 DE (Duane Eddy Signature) hollowbody archtop in beautiful grey burst with OHSC. Selling at $1,800, a fraction of the price with a new piece retailing on Musician's Friend for about $5,000 SGD.
Comes with cert and this was purchased from japan.
Dynasonic pickups give that great rockabilly twang mimicking the original DeArmonds on the original Duane Eddy model from the '50s.
Frets in great condition and superb neck. Set up by reputable tech throughout the years. This has also been rewired around the master vol so it's 2 vol (1 for each pickup) and 1 master tone.
Low price due to (1) heavy strap wear on top side of body where the strap button is (as show in pic). (2) Bigsby has been swapped out for an original Gretsch hardtail and I don't have the bigsby (3) need to clear my gear.
