Highly collectible with only 1200 pcs in the world. Made in 2011.
Comes with original hard case and papers. Condition is mint. Pick guard protective plastic sheet has not been removed.

No dinks or scratches, hardware is shiny. The guitar is pretty heavy and sounds fantastic and is always stored in its original hard case.

Pictures speak a thousand words :

See the rest of the pictures here : Gibson Les Paul Studio Joe Bonamassa - Imgur

Everything is original and unmodified and the pickups are higher end Burstbuckers instead of the usual 49X on the Les Paul Studio. Fret board is rosewood. The ebony black back is also uncommon for goldtops.

IMPORTANT NOTES (ESPECIALLY FOR KEITHTAN AND SGGUY_5):
1) I DID NOT BUY THIS FROM BGW.
2) I BOUGHT THIS FOR A HIGHER PRICE THAN WHAT I'M SELLING IT FOR.
3) BGW DOES NOT CARRY THIS GUITAR ANYMORE (THEY MIGHT HAVE SOLD ONE A YEAR AGO FOR SLIGHTLY LESS BUT THEY AREN'T SELLING THIS ANYMORE).
4) MY PRICE IS NEGOTIABLE HENCE IT DOES NOT MEAN ITS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN WHAT BGW WAS SELLING IT AT.
5) IF YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED TO PURCHASE DO NOT POST IN THIS THREAD. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION.
6) I'm not a guitar dealer and I'm not trying to make a profit. I no longer use this guitar and its in storage, why not sell it off to someone else that will make use of it?

HAHAHA this is epic sia! For that amount, guys go get a 2nd hand gibby standard!

Maybe but it wont be in the same minty fresh condition. The nitro finish on this one still smells like it came out of the factory yesterday.
Anyway they probably sound and feel similar.

WHAT?! NO WAY! A standard's mojo cannot compare to a studio bro. Even price also can't compare:p You'll jizz when you play a gibby standard. Then again, its up to individuals taste huh.. IMHO, maybe lower your price a little further and keithtan might get it!

Obviously you know the prices are different, hence it would not be possible to get a Standard in the same condition at this price.

So no point in comparing in the first place. Not sure if you know this model is pretty close to a standard with exception of the binding (read the specs, link is in first post). Its not your standard fare run of the mill studio in satin finish.

In fact I may be as bold as to go ahead and say the resonance and sustain on this baby would be better than a standard due to the traditional relief on this one as compared to the chambered body of the standard.

Oh and another thing, though it may not mean much to non collectors. This is the only LP studio model in gold top gloss finish with ebony back ever produced.

Then again based on your asking price, it is possible to get a 2nd hand gibby (gt my '94 standard for $2100). Not implying that your gibby studio studio sounds bad or anything, but, honestly with $2.3k+, JUST GET A STANDARD/CLASSiC. And a studio will always be a studio no matter how limited or resonant it may be.:(

Not to say you cant get an old standard for the same price, but the condition would not be the same. Its just not an apple to apple comparison. Also its quite ignorant to blatantly claim that all standards are better than all studios.

Again I must stress, you just cannot get any Standard/Classic/Traditional models in the same condition at this price.
Whats more, the price is negotiable.

Swee Lee is such a rip off. $4500 is a lot compared to the prices it is sold elsewhere in the world. Daylight robbery. Great guitar though.:p
