2008 Gibson Les Paul R0 Historic 1960 Reissue for sale at $5500.
Produced exclusively for Guitar Center in the USA, also known as “G0” in the Les Paul community.
All original electronics, pickups, plastics and finish
Gibson handwound Burstbuckers 1 (neck) and 2 (bridge)
Gibson bumble-bee capacitors, long shaft CTS pots with vintage style wiring
Double-ring Kluson tuners
Long neck tenon
Non-wire ABR-1 bridge and low-weight tailpiece
Original darkburst finish
Slimmer 1960s style neck profile with no cracks, repairs or issues
Dark rosewood fretboard
Excellent playing condition and set up with low action (10-46 sting gauge)
Comes with original Gibson Custom Shop hardcase and COA
In good cosmetic condition with honest playing wear, scratches and dings.
Fitted with nickel jackplate but original plastic jack plate will be provided.
One of the gold top hat knob for tone has a hairline crack but still sits firmly on pot
Used R7/R8 are usually selling for about $4-5k.
Used R9/R0 is going for more than $6k depending on the figuring of the flame maple top.
I believe my pricing of $5500 is fair for this original 2008 R0.
