Got this as a trade from a fellow softie. He bought this in Japan. I thought that it is easier to sell a bass guitar than to sell a massive amplifier which is too much for a home setup (i.e., MESA BOOGIE CARBINE M6).
Fodera guitars is a custom guitar maker with specialisation on Bass Guitars. Victor Wooten? He plays Fodera's Yin Yang model. The NYC Empire 4 model is the most affordable Fodera Bass guitar out there. MSRP for a "standard" Fodera NYC Empire 4 model is US$2,699. A quick check on the "Extra's" and how much Fodera charge for them (you can check there website if you wish to validate), reveals the following:
(1) Block Inlays - US$600
(2) Finger Ramp - US$300
(3) Drop D Tuner - US$180
So to buy a brand new set with the specs above will cost you US$3,800 or S$4,800 (before shipping). So when the original seller was selling at at S$2,900, it was really reasonable as it is almost 40% off.
But now, this can be yours for just S$2,400. The guitar comes with a good gig bag (not a fodera bag).
