Guitar is a recent production MIJ model, not the earlier 80s,90s model. Model name is ST-57 TX, hence neck is maple and body is alder. Pickups changed to fender custom shop 57/62 pickups. Nut has been changed to an unbleached bone nut. Shielding has been done for the electronics. Tone control has been wired so that you can control the tone of the bridge pickup with the second tone control as well. ( This mod is very simple and reversible. A very small piece of wire was soldered to the pickup selector and the tone pot.) Guitar is set up for size 10 strings and low action. Guitar needs a string change and setup if you want to use the whammy bar or desire higher action. Used, not abused.
Comes with gigbag, tremolo arm and papers/COA so don't worry.
