Letting go of this SWEEET Fender 50s Roadworn Strat in order to raise some cash. I picked out this piece from the Guitar Center in Seattle when the series was first released, and it's really one of the best pieces I've played. It's got a really punchy tone and great feel. An incredibly versatile guitar.
The pickups have been upgraded to DiMarzio Area 61 (Bridge) and 58 (Middle, Neck). The pots have been rewired so you'll have a tone control on the bridge pickup instead of a middle - a configuration that makes much more sense and offers many more tone options. If you're familiar with Lincoln Brewster, this Strat was upgraded to match the specs on his. The guitar was set up by Goose, and work on the electronics was done by him as well.
The upgrades and work alone would cost about $300. I'm asking just $1200 for this. Comes with the Fender gigbag that originally came with it. I'll throw in an SKB66 Hardcase as well if you make it an easy deal!
