hey is that an authentic epiphone zakk wylde lp custom? The EMG logo on the pickups looks kinda fake, and the inlays are off-centre...
I think its supposed to look more like this

Peps, the guitar itself was bought at guitar connection. Shop reputation wise, i remain neutral as I've bought my own guitar from there once. And no mods done to it as far as I know cos the guitar belongs to someone I know well. Apart from the serial number at the back of the headstock, how can I tell it's not authentic? Do share.

Nope, Buster, I don't feel or look like a fool. I was just having a laugh with a fellow softie and did not want to shoot his post down. Whether it is authentic or not, I can't say. Can you 100% discount its authencity? Can even fade2black do that? (nothing against you fade2black and you have brought up a valid point about the EMG Logo) I have not seen/held or played the guitar, so I will not make assumptions. It takes a very ignorant fool to make assumptions and I am afraid that is just what you have done.

thefiddler - thanks for link. It's indeed an eye opener and will pass this news to the owner for his next course of action.
To all who are considering this guitar and other items, sale will be retracted and will probably repost the rest of the items separately once owner confirm. Apologize as theres no intention to pass off this guitar as genuine.

Darn, I've just did a cleanup on the guitar and had it restring.

Hey that package looks familiar...that's how they packed my "fake fender neck"
Written on the package is EMS. Btw, i bought it at Ioffer. So if you all see items selling at Ioffer...beware!!
