Lets get this straight.
I am looking to sell an Epiphone Les Paul Custom Plus REPLICA.
Let me repeat myself, its not original. Its a damn REPLICA.
Its in heritage sunburst. However, it looks great & sounds great.
Grover tuners. Set neck construction.

This is my original post when i thought it was real. -.-

The replica story....
Bought it from a softie not long ago.
& today, was told by Mike from SV that it isnt an original.
I got fool-ed thinking it was real, & dont want others to get fool-ed too.
Below is the thread posted by the previous owner.
He's currently in Spain. Hahaha, just my luck!

TS is a nice cool guy.. who noe's can do for a bit bargain on it.. :p

anw, to TS.. i think u shud better expose the serial so dat ppl can't resell it off back. (unless the next conned buyer din google it about the serial 1st)

Hey bro, care to share how u knew it was fake? Interested to know how u can tell from d pics thx.

By spending a lot of time trawling thru MyLesPaul's forums. There is an Epiphone sub-forum and a sticky thread where members discuss fakes.

Hope this helps.

You guys can refer to this site:

This replica is kinda like the original. The outlook's awesome.
You cant spot its a fake from the headstock, screws & the pot alignment. (refer to above site for reference)

What that actually gave it away is the back cavity & the weight.
Its heavy. BUT not as heavy as a les paul custom should be.
& the wiring in the back cavity arent very neat like how Epiphone would provide.

OH! & the serial number's EE07045734.
To check the serial number : http://guitardaterproject.org/epiphone.aspx

CHEERS! (:

In the interest of honesty, fakes aren't too bad a guitar, really. I've played a couple and they are much better than other LP copies which go for 200+ dollars. A couple of upgrades here and there and you could have yourself a workhorse. But in the interest of authenticity, fakes are a no-no. Buyers have to be up-front when selling them off.
