Hi all,
Wishing to sell a Cort X-3 in black. This is a hardtail guitar which features a maple neck, 16" radius rosewood fingerboard, and a 3D basswood body design. The neck plays fast, and I was able to lower the action down to the same specs as an Ibanez guitar I owned previously by a luthier. The neck profile feels to be on the chunky side though. The sculpted horns and bevelled neck joint allow easy access to the higher frets. Also, I swapped the original bridge out for a gold bridge. The gold bridge was intended as an initial step to upgrading some of the other hardwares to gold as well. The guitar also houses the default Cort Powersound humbuckers. However, the vol pot is faulty in that it is unable to cut the volume fully. This is a factory defect and I have not tampered with the electronics. The output sounds great with both vol/tone pots maxed.
I have only owned this guitar for less than a year, and cosmetics wise is 9.5/10, but fully functional(except the vol pot). This guitar is great if you're looking to play fast, or like to play in dropped tunings. The fixed bridge also makes for easier restringing/tuning, and improves overall sustain. Selling it for $200(fixed). If interested, pls contact @ HP:98731864.
Thanks for reading.
