This particular guitar is a concert style body with the signature cutaway. The body is a combination between AAA Western Red Cedar and AAA East Indian Rosewood. AAA Western Red Cedar is a softer and more elastic. It’s known for it’s clear, crisp tone. AAA East Indian Rosewood is typically a darker, warmer tone. As you can imagine, they provide a very nice balance to each other. You’ll be pleasantly surprised at the clarity and balance this guitar provides. Open chords are articulate and rich, while it’s easy to capture a very dynamic and vibrant tone with percussive strumming and finger picking. The guitar does have a gloss finish, but it’s not to the extent where you can you see yourself in the guitar. It’s more of a cross between satin and gloss which offers a very nice soft shine. The rest of the body is topped off with Ivoroid and Herringbone Top Purfling.
