There is a huge difference between synchronous and asynchronous NAND. See here for the details.
In a nutshell, synchronous NAND will not lose performance as the disk fills up.
It's not just about the controller. It boils down to the NAND type.
Google "why is asynchronous nand slower than synchronous" for the full facts.
Self collect at Petir LRT, One North MRT or Dhoby Ghaut MRT. These pickup locations are generally not negotiable and timing to meet is subject to mutual convenience, likely during office hours if at Dhoby Ghaut, Lunch time at one north and anytime at Petir (subject to availability of my helper or children since that have school activities anyway). Meeting should be arrange at least a day in advance. Please be punctual for your meeting. If you are going to be more than 30 minutes late, please inform way beforehand. People have schedules to keep. The general rule of thumb will be that once appointment is set, will not wait for more than 15mins. If you miss that appointment, collection will be at my block at near Petir LRT (very short walking distance)
RMA to Samsung will cost you roughly S$8+ to US and they will ship it back to you from US to SG free.
