WTS Blackstar HT-5RH (Amp Head With Reverb)

Hey Guys,

I'm selling my Blackstar HT-5RH Amp head. This is the model that comes with Reverb. Unit comes with footswitch and power cable, user's manual etc. Everything except the box basically.

There's nothing wrong with the Amp and has been only used for 10 hours max. It's in great condition. Bought it on impulse though it has been fun playing it loud.

I'll also sugar this deal with a booster pedal and your choice of preamp tube from my spares to see what suits you.

Letting this go for $400 or trades with POD HD500 or Boss GT-100 with top-up if required.

mind if i ask why you are selling it? is it the sound not suited to your taste? just curious

I actually bought it for fun really. Just to compare what the ISF knob does with a British amp (JCM 2000) and an American amp (Peavy Ultra). It's quite convincing with a booster pedal in front of the amp which I have to say, the amp accepts pedals really well. Basically I wanted to find out what the ISF does and have a practice amp. The JCM is divine at louder volumes only.

Since I found someone selling an used a Z air brake, I've been using the JCM in bedroom mode. And the blackstar has been lying there ever since.

Besides, the JCM has more gain stages to screw around with

Also, I would like to try out some of the more recent multi effects pedal boards to replace an old unit that I currently have.
