This guitar opened my ears up to how great koa can sound, that I have decided to upgrade to a higher end koa guitar! The Baden D-style is a full solid handcrafted guitar.
Tonewise, it is extremely responsive, and the koa gives a very sweet and expressive high end while remaining balanced across the tonal range.
Top quality woods used throughout, AAA solid spruce top with solid koa back/sides, ebony bridge and fretboard on a 1-piece solid african mahogany neck.
The full suite of upgrades done on this guitar: FMI nut and saddle (recently re-profiled), Gotoh tuners which stays in tune forever, and a new LR Baggs Anthem pickup installed. This is a custom shop model. Less than 10 in the world and only 2 in Singapore (and this is the significantly better sounding piece).
Condition-wise, this has been played, minor dings here and there, nothing serious. Koa is getting extremely limited in supply for guitar-making, and this is your chance to grab a fantastic example at a very low price.
SMS me at 90178137 and we can discuss. Trades wise, unlikely unless you have something very interesting.
