Selling Alvarez MP70 Parlor guitar

Its well played and setup up professionally, upgraded tuners with gold Gotoh statites, and optional LR Baggs Lyric pickup. My girlfriend just bought me a nice new handmade boutique acoustic, so i'm clearing out my inventory to make space.

Alvarez makes some of the most resonant guitars for the buck. I really like this model - perfect sized for fingerstyle, generous fingerboard, solid rosewood back and sides.

List price is US$1200, street price US$720 (SGD 930)

Willing to let this go @ SGD 490 (guitar itself) or SGD 690 (guitar plus L.R. Baggs Lyric pickup). Might be able to lower slightly.

1) read the review on the Alvarez AP70 (cheaper end version) to get a sense of the potential of this guitar. The MP70 is the AP70 but with higher quality woods (solid back and sides)

Alvarez MP70 Parlor Masterworks Acoustic Guitar Specifications

The Alvarez MP70 Masterworks parlor acoustic guitar is made from a hand selected, AA solid Sitka spruce top, and solid, cured rosewood back and sides. Each component is made of natural material, including real bone saddles and nuts, maple and rosewood bindings and purflings, ebony bridge pins and green abalone inlays.

These beautifully voiced, professional guitars are made from all-solid, seasoned tone woods. All solid wood really does make a difference, and Alvarez made sure each Masterworks gets the best out their solid wood construction. They are very open sounding, powerful instruments with rounded notes and plenty of bass.

Masterworks guitars feature a one-piece mahogany neck with a 50/50 finish, Grover tuners and 12th Fret abalone inlay. The Masterworks bracing system is forward shifted with scalloped, hand finished X braces that allow these guitars to project incredibly well. There's lots of sustain and dynamic response. Either strummed or picked, the separation and balance across the strings is unprecedented in this price range.

Top: Hand Selected, AA grade, Solid Sitka Spruce
Back and Sides: Solid Rosewood
Fingerboard: Rosewood
Machine heads: Grover Vintage Sta-Tite
Bridge: Bi-Level Rosewood
Strings: D’Addario EXP’s
Finish: Gloss

bump for the holiday season!
