WTS: Alesis QS6 with Stereo Grand Piano Plus QCard and Ultimate Stand for SGD250

Selling the following:

1) Alesis QS6 with Sustain Pedal
2) Stereo Grand Piano Plus QCard
3) Ultimate X Stand

The QS6's LCD display is broken and no longer showing any text. Keys are in perfect condition and I still find them much nicer to play than the keyboard controllers of today. (See here: http://www.vintagesynth.com/misc/qs6.php)

The Stereo Grand Piano Plus QCard has one of the best sounding piano. It is still selling on ebay for USD89 (See here: http://goo.gl/P6dT5o).

I am clearing out my 16 year old studio including mixers and synthesizers. My daughter is turning 4 this November and the studio has been earmarked to become a princess' room. Now I play the Akai MPKmini.

Hi, you can bring it to Daniel at Sinamex for a quotation if you need to service it. You can also purchase a replacement LCD here: http://goo.gl/1ws956. I have changed 2 of these myself. It's quite easily replaceable. But I must say that looking at the price of the LCD replacement online, it's really not worth servicing it.

There are buttons for selecting patches on the synth. But you will need to guess what's selected. Another option is to download the QE 2.0 synth editor from here: http://goo.gl/q18S9F.

You can play it like a digital piano. With the Piano QCard, the synth produces good piano sounds. This was what I have been using the synth as over the years. Nowadays I just play London Bridge on the piano patch with my daughter on my lap.

Or you can plug it to a midi interface and use it like a keyboard controller. The QS6's touch does feel like a high-end keyboard, unlike the sub SGD500 61-key keyboard controller of today.
