Bought from BGW in 2012 for $2500. It is absolutely mint.
Selling for $2300 with its Hiscox hardshell case.
Has never left the house. Kept in case with Zorb-it packs. Hardly played.
Furch (or Stonebridge in the US) is a Czech masterbuilder reputed for exceptional quality at 2/3 the price of mainstream big names—labour's just cheaper in the CR than in the US. And they pass on as savings whatever they don't spend on branding. Poke around forums and you'll quickly find stories of how people stumbled upon them as excellent alternatives. You don't make average guitars after 3 decades' constant practice.
I'm selling it because I'm more interested in dark tones now. The G25CR is on the brighter end of the spectrum: Taylor-like, very balanced, very gentlemanly, very focused bass notes.
I'd be curious to hear how it performs with a Lyric pickup because it has some great shimmering tones,
Serious buyers: Please PM me for pictures and to deal.
Lowballers: I'd also be perfectly happy holding onto it till I've a use for brighter tones, so don't bother!
