Just thought i put this up for anyone who would be interested.
Below is history and wear&tear/upgrades of my guitar ...
1. This is 2001 production – got it at Sinamex, and with special request to Taylor factory not to install the Fishman Preamp on the side, which was standard at that time, which would cut a big hole at the side. Took me quite a bit of convincing to get this done, which is why Taylor don’t entertain any custom requests anymore (unless you are somebody), and probably why they invented their own pickup system. (see pic)
2. I have installed this with the newest Fishman Matrix Infinity pickups (cost me $350).
3. The top 3 frets have been re-fretted by Steven from Sinamex this year.
4. This comes with a new hardcase (which is still smelling good), not the old case, I was in USA and managed to get a new case for the guit. (see Pic).
5. There is a ding on the top bottom due to case accident. (see pic)
6. The lacquer on the bindings are old and some have come off. (see pic)
Overall, I would not sell this off if you asked me cos it is well seasoned and the action & tone is still awesome, but I don’t really play much Acoustic anymore.
My asking price would be $2500 nego.
