Taylor guitars need no introduction. But when a gem like this comes along, it somehow warrants a modest preamble...

This 6 series dreadnought sports a tight-grained sitka spruce top with gorgeous silking and made all the sweeter with the highly coveted quilted maple back and sides. Time (19 years to be exact) has transformed this battleship of a guitar into a fine instrument with a loose bass and sweet highs. The maple back and sides also serves to amplify its tone, allowing you to cut through the mix while recording or on stage. And boy does this guitar sound good when fingerpicked.

This workhorse of an axe has had a hairline crack repaired at the bottom edge of the lower bout by Adam from Guitaring Passionately in 2014. I have included a picture of the repaired crack.

Price: $2100 (slightly negotiable and strictly for sale)
