I'm looking for a Roland MC-303 Groovebox, if you have one and want to sell it (or trade it, I've got some equipment that you might be interested in) send me a PM or sms or call to 83383 one seven six.

Many Thanks,

TC

I own the mc 303 in the mid 90's poor interface.. very average sounds. not meant for performance. more like a toy . get the korg emx instead.way better sounds and goodi knobs.plus tube amp.

I know what you mean but the 2 machines are different, the MC303 is old model (early 90's) and it has a very basic interface and features too, but the good thing is it has all the drum sounds from the famous TR808 and 909 drums machines as well sounds from Jupiter and Juno syhths...and i really like the sound of it, warm and fat.
The Electribe is a newer model, only a few years old, if im not wrong, and therefore is a more sophisticated piece of equipment, with new sounds and all that. I also like it, but at the moment im looking for the mc303 to use as a sound module.
But thanks for the comment!

Cheers !

The mc303 sounds are very low quality. You won't like it.it's not fat or warmth at all.low quality samples. The mc909 would be closer to a pro groove box if u can find one.

I don't think the sounds are low quality, have you listened to a MC 303 before?! :)

I had one before, but I sold it....my mistake, Now I regret it...

But anyway is a matter of taste

I stated I own the 303 in the mid 90's ( of course i own & work on it, let alone listen to it) for at least 6 months..recorded 3 tracks of demos onto mini disc as well..its really low quality by today's standard..looks nice but its like a toy.
