You can try the adelphi centre at city hall.

Roxy Records at Excelsior Shopping Centre. lotsa lotsa vinyl, all kinds from dance to prog rock to metal to latest indie stuff...........and the prices are still pretty ok.

you can find workable turntables for sale at sungei road if you are lucky. just need to change the needle.
what kind of records are you looking for? i know a couple of indie distros dealing in punk/hardcore stuff. i can pm you if you want.

in that case roxy records is your best bet. ebay is also a great place to look for cheap records. good luck.
